Warrior 146
Chapter 146 RYN
Digging through my bag, I brought out my pendant and smiled down at it before rising to my feet. Then I approached Theon first.
"Hi, Theon." I said, feeling ridiculous that I was talking to the air "It's me, Ryn." I nodded, looking down at the pendant. "...and I just want to say....I'm sorry."
The moment those words came out of my mouth, I burst into tears and covered my mouth to muffle my
sobs.

"I'm so sorry for everything." I whimpered, looking up at the ceiling as I tried to dab my face dry. "You've been nothing but kind to me and I have been nothing but trouble, even having the audacity to fall in love with you."
I breathed out a laugh while cleaning another fresh duct of tears. "That's right, Theon Windermere. I am so in love with you, and you remind me so much even though I don't deserve you." I sniffled. "You're all I think about. You're all I... want in a man of my father. He's so strong, resilient and stubborn." I laughed softly at the last word, then my smile faded.
"I have been having this feeling that either you or
Miro are my mate." I sighed. "And I really want it to be you. I hope... it's you." My eyes burned with tears again as I looked down at the pendant. "Touching you will tell me the truth." I stated, "and if it's not you, I'm going to be really, really sad, but whatever happens, happen
With that said, I unclasped the pendant. "This pendant is my good luck, and it has seen me through some really twisted shit." I sniffled. "I hope it helps you come back to me, to us, because life without you is like a grey sky after a raining day. Dull, sad, and colorless." "And you're my color, Theon." Fresh tears rolled down my face.. "In a world of fucking grey, you're my vibrant color and if Miro's my mate, I hope you know you will always have my heart no matter what."
And with that said, I clasped the pendant around his neck and the moment my fingers brushed the base of his neck; I felt delicious sparks shoot up my hand and that's when I cried in relief.
"Thank you, Goddess!" I sobbed as our foreheads touched, loving his cinnamon and apple pie scent as it enveloped me. Theon was all I ever wanted and I am so glad the Goddess gifted him to me. I touched his pretty face and when I kissed him, my wolf stirred with delight, wanting more.
"I'm so glad you're my mate." I whispered out loud.
"Who the hell is your
mate?!"
I jerked away from Theon in time to see the Alpha King looking at me in anger. Behind him was Healer Kwan, who looked. perplexed and surprised.
I swallowed hard, staring at the King. "Y-Your majesty." I bowed.
"WHO THE HELL IS YOUR MATE?!" He growled.
"It seems to be Prince Theon, your Majesty." Healer Kwan answered for me and I nodded profusely.
"Yes, my King." I swallowed. "Prince Theon is my mate."
"No. No. No. My son cannot and will NOT be your mate."
I went from nervousness to anger real quick. "Why not?" I asked squaring my shoulders, facing him. "What did I ever do to
for you to hate me this much?"

"I have never met you before! Or have I?" I raised my voice. "Did I kick your nuts as a child?! Is that it?! IS THAT WHY YOU HATE ME?!" The King's hand swung out and hit me across the face.
I saw stars as I stumbled onto Miro's bed and the moment my hand connected with his skin; I felt amazing sparks shoot up my hand.
I paused, with my back to the King, completely confused, as the scent of vanilla and strawberry ice cream wafted through my nostrils. Miro is my mate too?
Someone grabbed me by the hair, causing pain to shoot up my scalp. "You will never have my son!" The King growled in my ear before pushing me forward.

I landed with my body on Miro and again, every single place our bodies connected, I felt electricity zap Confused and terrified, I turned around on the King. "You can't decide that. You can't come in between what is destined." The King scoffed before breaking out into a hun I watched him in fright. I had never seen a half transformation like that before.
"But you can't." I replied, getting bolder as I pieced a revelation together. "You physically can't hurt me."
The King glared at me. "To some extent." He spat. "Don't think I can't make
you bleed!"
Then I saw blood trickle down his nose. "Yeah, right." I scoffed. "Hurting me will literally cause harm to you."
The King wiped off the blood from his nose angrily, and I wondered how he got himself in this situation. Did he swear an oath? Or did someone bind him from hurting me?
"Stay away from my sons."
I folded my arms across my chest. "Or what?" I moved my neck sassily. "You can't hurt me and you certainly can't hurt your sons." I smiled.
The King's eyes narrowed at me in a
smirk and before I knew it, his claws struck out and cut Healer Kwan by the throat. I watched in horror as
Healer Kwan gripped his throatnet
great Surprise and fell to his knees as blood pumped from his wound massively. Instantly, I rushed to him, breaking his fall to the ground as he struggled for air.
I looked up at the King in horror. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!"
The King smirked. "You are right. I can't hurt you physically, but I sure as hell can hurt the people around you to get what I want. So here's what's going to happen." The King lowered himself on his haunches, his bloody hand dripping blood.
"He has a few minutes to live. You can either let him die and I tell everyone you killed him because he caught you trying to hurt my sons. Everyone will believe me, because I am the King and whatever I say goes OR you can swear a binding oath that you will leave town. N "So, your choice." The King said, rising to his feet and desperation hit me harder than any punch I have ever suffered in life.
As I heard the Healer Kwan's heartbeat slow, I became faced with the hardest decision of my life.
"Will you let an innocent man die, or will you do what it takes to save his life?"
