Chapter 1541
Chapter 1541
The car drove out of the villa and Molly thought it was going to the dock.
But soon, she realized something was wrong.
"Are we not going to pick Mr. Ballard up?”
Molly turned her head and cast a puzzled look at Sean in the driver's seat.
The car wasn't driving in the direction of the port she thought, but in the opposite direction from it.
Sean raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, we're going to pick Mr.
Ballard up."
"Then..."
"You'll know when we get there."
Sean smiled at her.
Molly didn't ask any more questions.
After about twenty minutes or so, the car pulled up to an abandoned port.
"Here we are."
Sean parked the car, unbuckled his seat belt, and got out.
Molly followed closely behind, and as soon as she opened the door, a fishy sea breeze blew on her.
She looked around and found she was in a lonely abandoned port. The ground was covered with weeds. Few people came here.
"Where’s Mr. Ballard?"
Molly turned her head to ask Sean.
Sean did not answer. He took her hand and walked forward for a while.
At that moment, Molly saw a ship coming toward them on the sea not far away.
She frowned. "Is Mr. Ballard on that ship?"
"Yeah." Sean nodded his head.
Receiving the affirmative answer, Molly looked around again and laughed slightly, "So you've got the island all mapped out, and you even know there is such a port."
"Of course. I never do anything unprepared."
Sean put his arm around her shoulders and gazed at the approaching ship.
Molly pursed her lips and smiled, feeling it was really unbelievably reassuring to be around him. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
Soon, the ship docked.
The long-awaited Mr. Ballard was finally here.
Molly was quite excited.
At that moment, the ladder slowly fell until it touched the shore.
Then, someone came out of the cabin.
It was Mr. Ballard.
As soon as she saw the familiar figure, Molly was about to greet him. Suddenly, her eyes widened.
She wondered why there were three small figures beside Mr. Ballard.
Her heart beat faster.
Molly thought, 'Could it be...'
"Mommy!"
This time, Mr. Ballard came to the island with Alex, Ben, and Claudia.
Once they left the cabin, they saw Molly standing on the shore.
After such a long time of separation, they missed each other so much. The three ran eagerly to their mother.
Molly originally thought that only Mr. Ballard would come.
Excitement and longing instantly came over her.
When Molly saw the three little ones running toward her, tears rushed out of her eyes.
She hurriedly wiped them, squatted down, and opened her arms to greet the three kids.
"Mommy!"
The three little ones ran very fast and crashed directly into Molly's arms. Fortunately, there was Sean behind her.
Otherwise, all four of them would have fallen to the ground.
As she smelt the familiar scents, Molly's eyes turned misty again. She hugged the three children very hard as if to embed them in her body.
The three little ones stayed quietly in her arms, enjoying the long-lost warm embrace.
"Mommy still smells so good."
Alex was the first to speak.
Ben grinned, "Mommy's fragrance is so comforting."
He liked Molly's scent, which made him feel at ease.
"Mommy, we missed you so much."
Claudia pouted, blinked her big moist eyes, and spoke in a tender voice.
